If you are looking for something different, the Ocean restaurant at The Staincliffe Hotel, offers an excellent dining experience. As the name suggests it's menu is made up of 95% seafood, which is delivered fresh daily from W.A. Hogson of Hartlepool.

With award winning chief Mark Jones and his friendly staff, the Ocean will not disappoint on quality of food and service.

As well as locally caught offerings such as Cod, Haddock and Lobster the catch of the day boasts more exotic fair from Red Snapper to Shark. All meals are cooked to order fro a superb a la' carte menu complimented by a superb wine cellar.

The a la' cart menu is served all day Monday to Saturday from 10am till 9.45pm, however if you would like something a little more appropriate for lunch but equally superb there is a quality lunch time menu available served from 10am till 6pm.

On Sundays in the Ocean restaurant, between 12noon and 3pm we serve up a menu of delicious traditional roasts.
